Important Hotel Information & Parking Directions for 2026 Movement-Building Call to Collaboration

We are so excited that you’ll be joining us on Wed., September 9 & Thurs., September 10 for the 2026 Movement-Building Call to Collaboration! We have included some information for you about both days. Please reach out to us if you have any questions.
Directions & Parking
Location: Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF) Headquarters (50 College Rd East, Princeton, NJ 08540)
Directions:
- When you turn into the curving RWJF drive, you will see the building to your right ahead of you. Follow the curving driveway.
- Route 1 Northbound – the driveway to RWJF will be on your right, shortly after you merge onto College Road. If you reach the Marriott at Forrestal you’ve gone too far. The RWJF drive is on the same side of the road as the Marriott.
- Route 1 Southbound: – If you are in a shopping center with the Westin Hotel you’re on the wrong side of Route 1. Leave the shopping center and cross over Route 1 – the driveway to RWJF will be on your right, shortly after your cross over Route. If you reach the Marriott at Forrestal you’ve gone too far.
Parking:
- DO NOT PARK in the front of the building – continue on past the building (which will be on your left) until you reach the parking garage designated for staff/visitors.
- Standard Parking: Enter the Parking Garage on either the first or second level. If on the second level, descend the stairs and follow the walkway (approx 300 feet) to the set of glass doors.
- Accessible Parking: Accessible parking is in the front of the RWJF building. RWJF staff can assist those with limited mobility down the hallway to our meeting space.
- Once you have arrived, please give your name to the security guard, then proceed to the registration table to check in with Gathering Ground staff and collect your name badge.
- There is no shuttle from Marriott Forrestal to RWJF. If folks will not have a car available, please let us know. If anyone is willing to volunteer being a ride share, please let us know.
Schedule & Meals
- Schedule: 9:00am – 4:00pm. Registration opens at 9am and we start at 9:30am sharp so please plan accordingly!
- Meals: Light breakfast and full lunch will be provided. We encourage you to bring personal water bottles/mugs so we can reduce unnecessary waste and join each other in sustainable practices.
- Dress: Please dress comfortably and for varying temperatures.
Hotel Info
Gathering Ground has organized a hotel room block at the Princeton Marriott at Forrestal (100 College Rd E, Princeton, NJ 08540), which is right next door to RWJF (see map at bottom of the page). The final date to book and receive the group rate is Tuesday, September 1.
Rate: Princeton Marriott at Forrestal for 159.00 USD per night + taxes
- Start Date: Tuesday, September 08, 2026
- End Date: Thursday, September 10, 2026
- You will be assigned a room type (e.g. king vs. double queens) when you check in
- There are several hotels off of Route 1, so if you’d prefer to book at a different hotel, you may do so. Be aware that traffic can get VERY congested in that corridor around Princeton, so if you book elsewhere, please leave extra time to get to the event.

About the Call to Collaboration
You are joining a diverse group of people from the social justice organizing ecosystem, including community members, organizers, activists, policy experts, funders, nonprofit leaders and many more for two-days of solution-driven conversations about the future of New Jersey at the Call to Collaboration (C2C), facilitated by Gathering Ground.
Together we will explore the central question:
How do we work together across New Jersey in ways that build real institutional accountability and community care, support movement workers to avoid burnout and isolation, and use popular education to grow shared understanding and collective power?
Space is limited. If you can no longer attend the Call to Collaboration, please let us know so that we can make a space available to someone else.
