Join us in celebrating Kacy’s 10 years with Gathering Ground!
Ten years ago this month, Kacy O’Brien, our Director of Programming, joined Gathering Ground’s team! That first year she worked with us in a part-time capacity, helping to support her own community by co-organizing the Trenton Call to Collaboration with Host Team members.
10 years, 18 communities, 9 statewide summits and 5,000+ people later, our Director of Programming is still going strong and excited to continue growing the Gathering Ground community.

3 Fun Facts about Kacy:
- Kacy delights in spending her days with her husband Craig Weinrich (Council of NJ Grantmakers) and their new pup Clyde
- She has wrestled a groundhog, hand-fed a bald eagle, and nursed juvenile raccoons, among other animals, during her time volunteering at the Mercer County Wildlife Center
- Because of her love for nature and expert planning skills, colleagues agree that if they ever were on Survivor – Kacy would be the team leader
