MoCo Arts Corridor Partnership

The MoCo Arts Corridor Partnership is both a physical and cooperative initiative designed to promote the many art, cultural, and historic assets in Monmouth County, NJ. MoCo’s Mission is to make the Central Jersey Shore a cultural destination of choice. The MoCo (Monmouth County) Partnership includes government agencies, civic groups, artists, businesses, educational institutions, tourism and transportation organizations committed to building a more sustainable and resilient community through the creation of the MoCo Arts Corridor, and by leveraging the economic power the Arts create for the good of the entire community. In March 2013, The MoCo Arts Corridor Partnership was cited as a case study in a presentation to the United Nations by Bloomfield College’s Center for Creative Placemaking.

“It was a delight to work with all of you on this initiative that is so critical to the future of our community. I have lived and worked in Atlantic City for 26 years. During those years, I have heard and read about so many “plans” that never were brought to completion. Thanks to Gathering Ground, we now have a blueprint for success. What you have done for us will impact the lives of so many people for years to come.”

– Diane Ramftl – Former Regional Charter Marketing Specialist, Harrahs (Atlantic City)
