Disrupting Colonialism in Nonprofits - Feb 29 @ 2:30pm

Awareness of the nonprofit sector as an expression of colonialism and racism is growing. Explore ways to disrupt these systemic issues in your ecosystem.

Join Justin Laing (Hillombo LLC), antiracist teacher/student and facilitator, for a 90-minute Zoom conversation inspired by frameworks of Paulo Freire, author of “Pedagogy of the Oppressed to explore how the nonprofit and philanthropic sectors express and reproduce conditions of colonialism and racism in the context of the U.S. We will collectively discuss how these processes could be disrupted.
