Sharon Stroye 

Sharon Stroye is a nationally recognized visionary leader in racial healing, institutional transformation, and inclusive leadership. She currently serves as the inaugural Director of the Truth, Racial Healing, and TransformationTM (TRHT) Initiative at Emory University, where she leads strategic collaborative efforts to advance equity, dismantle the false belief in a hierarchy of human value, and foster a culture rooted in shared humanity. Emory’s TRHT Campus Center, one of 75 nationwide—is part of a visionary movement led by the American Association of Colleges and Universities to cultivate the next generation of strategic leaders grounded in shared humanity.

• Sharon and her mother share the same birthday – December 4th
• Sharon was born, raised, attended school, lived, worked, and played in the city of Newark, NJ (Brick City) her entire life and lives in Georgia surrounded by trees, deer, and armadillos and she absolutely loves the change from the concrete jungle to the real jungle!
